HHB welcomes Daniel Waldenström - Professor of Economics at Uppsala University - as a HHB Fellow. He holds two PhDs, one in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics (2003) and one in Economic History, from Lund University (2009).
His research focuses on the long run evolution of wealth, income, inequality and taxation, especially relating to Swedish economic history, and is currently coordinating the Swedish National Wealth Database (SNWD) project. He is author (with Jesper Roine) of the chapter “Long run trends in the distribution of income and wealth”, in A.B. Atkinson & F. Bourguignon (Eds.), Handbook in Income Distribution, 2015. He is also Research Fellow in the Centre for Economic Policy Research and columnist for the online blog www.ekonomistas.se.
