HHB welcomes Dr. Talat Anwar – Head of the School of Public Policy at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics – as a new HHB Fellow.
He holds a PhD from the University of Sussex (1996), with a thesis focusing on poverty and public policy and structural adjustment policy in Pakistan.
Dr. Anwar has a wide-ranging 32 years teaching and research experience in national and international institutions such as the UNDP, along with international consulting experience with entities such as ADB and the World Bank in the areas of public policy, economic growth, poverty, income distribution, and microfinance.
