HHB welcomes Bruno Gabriel Witzel de Souza - PhD student at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany - as a HHB Researcher.

Bruno Gabriel Witzel de Souza holds a BA in Economics from the Universidade de São Paulo and a MA in Development Economics from the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, where he is also associate of the Research Training Group 1723 “Globalization and Development”.

His research is focused on the impacts of immigrants on long-run economic development and comparative history of immigration to Brazil, especially to the state of São Paulo.
